I miss your debit I take the Cisco computer networking course here at Chelsea CTE this course leads to Cisco certification which is highly regarded. field and individuals with that certification are in a very large demand and there are employment opportunities directly at the high school that you don't need a college degree for this however that's also encouraged to go into college now in here they learn about small to medium large size networks they learn how to make point in point in point connections and how date through the network they learn about cyber security concerns and they get a chance to do Hands-On on real equipment and they will configure routers switches they will configure what it called Leland's they will configure wireless access networks they will configure the routers with routing protocols and they will enact various practices to mitigate cybersecurity threats the course is used as a Core Curriculum in many of the colleges that offer it that use the exact same horse from Cisco netacad and it opens up all sorts of possibilities for working it so if you're interested in any field in it this is the way it opens up all the opportunities this this just creates Limitless possibilities and it's the basic core of knowledge about it that is necessary now this particular lab is the largest and best-equipped in the city I can guarantee that okay barnone and as I said they get a chance to work with real equipment this allows them to develop their critical thinking skills troubleshooting skills and collaborative skills working with teams as you see they're doing in the background map they working groups of teams of three and four students so they learn how to work with people they learn how to troubleshoot they learn how to problems and it'll is a part of critical thinking and I am currently in my class off Cisco so that we able to understand more about the internet and how it functions as soon as I came here as transfer students in 10th Grade and I am very much appreciate very happy about all the things have happened to make early I mean friendships I have made many connections I have also participated in your program. The teachers have offered me all the teachers and the staff here are very nice neighbors are powerful and they will help if there's any need in there also help out each other and there is pretty much there is very little you know scream Nation say because they're very accepting I've currently produce different clubs for example a participant in the handbook love working to helping being a team member and helping my teammates choosing him up and even going to the playoffs to go intense others the city it is very fun and it is very nice having people who support you for who you are and very very kind people and to this day I'm still part of it and very proud of it I am a junior here at Chelsea CT High School one of the most greatest opportunities I had here at the school Alyssa being old and he's not working Academy very good experience and I'm very proud to have one of my teachers is just a bit distracting me to teaching youth during this 3 course journey and it's not even about the three courses really it's also about just in general environment do we have school or it's a very very welcoming environment there's always someone to speak to you need to speak to you a teacher or guidance counselor or maybe one of our administrators so much always available to speak with you it's a wonderful wonderful Community Clinic friends can also learn about the various events and activities that we had here at the school where personally where I I am involved in a lot of opportunities I'm involved in the leadership soon I do work with the student Equity team of centering the information on criticality I also work with a C Club I used to do for making Cloud I'm back in ninth grade if there was just a wonderful opportunity that's just like a taste of this day various opportunities and events in extracurriculars you can do here at the school also there are both personally for me I'm also available to do the morning announcement be called the Lion's Den the end dance dance regalia education is about 5 minutes of five minutes before first. I just share with the entire the entirety of the school some news activities events and is it the one for me to meet the phone number to meet you it's a very wonderful school and I'm proud to be a Chelsea lion
